Struggling with Anxiety?
The Bible speaks directly to anxiety, fear, and restless thoughts

You don't have to face it alone
Find support in times of distress
Understand your anxiety better
Discover a source of lasting happiness

Why are you here?
You may not consider yourself religious.
You may simply be exhausted.
Perhaps -
-
your mind wont slow down
-
anxiety keeps returning
-
relationships feel strained
-
depression wastes daily
-
you feel shame or guilty about something
-
you feel empty when life looks fine

You are not the first person to feel this way
An ancient prayer says:
"When anxiety is great within me, Your comfort brought me joy." (Psalm 94:19)
"Why my soul, are you sad? Why so disturbed within me?" (Psalm 42:5)
"Do not let your hearts be troubled" ( John 14:1)
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you"
(1 Peter 5:7)
How have others found peace when life felt overwhelming?
The Bible begins with Honesty -
Not Performance
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted" (Psalm 34:18)
and Jesus said:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Who is Jesus - Really?
Jesus experienced grief, pressure, rejection and distress. He once said:
"My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow."
(Mark 14:34)
and was described as one who:
"Is able to understand our weaknesses."
(Hebrews 4:15)
Jesus did more than teach about peace:
"Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
(Romans 5:1)

What if God is Not Distant?
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (personally)." (1 Peter 5:7)
Jesus said:
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives." (John 14:27)

A Simple First Step
If you are unsure what you believe, you could start here:
"God, if you are real, I need help.
If you care, show me."
